Assessment with Report
Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental & Educational Assessment $1,760 (inc. GST)
We conduct a variety of comprehensive assessments for children and adults to assess for neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disorders and any mental health concerns.
As part of this assessment, an initial interview is conducted with the child’s parent/s and/or caregivers, generally via telehealth. After this initial interview, a time is arranged in which a cognitive and academic assessment is conducted with the child in a one-on-one setting, and appropriate evidence-based questionnaires are sent to caregivers and/or teachers. From here, the psychologist then formulates a report and diagnosis, and upon completion of the report, will arrange a time to review the results with you if necessary. We are very open about the tests we utilise and ensure that only gold standard, evidence-based assessments are used. These can include, but are not limited to, WISC, WAIS, WIAT, SRS, ADI-R, CONNERS-4, ABAS, ASSQ, SCAS and/or DASS. Therapy and Counselling
Our team provide psychological support for our clients and their families using evidence based therapeutic interventions. We pride ourselves in providing individualised treatment plans for our clients, to work towards our clients goal. Each session is approximately 50 minutes in length and can be conducted in person or via telehealth. We generally adhere to a cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) framework, however, we are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and can tailor our approach to suit the client’s needs. We are also able to provide parent training and support, and can work with schools and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. Our therapy spots are currently full, however, we are taking names for our waitlist.
